Cross-Country Skiing Classes

Cross-Country Ski Course - offered in partenership with Cross Country Ski Southwest

Location: Parc nature les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare
 
Conditions: An assessment of skills could be done in the first class to ensure that students are in good standing. Please note that the final schedule will be confirmed once the registration period has ended.

• At the community center (1301, rue du Bois), Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to noon and from 1 pm to 4:30 pm

Bunnies - Jeannot Lapin (Introduction for 3-5 years old)

Ne experience required.

Jack Rabbit Level 1 (6 years old and +)

Required: knowing how to get back up when you fall. Be able to walk with the skis.

 

Jack Rabbit Level 2 (6 years old and +)

Required: have completed Level 1

 

Jack Rabbit Level 3(6 years old and +)

Required: have completed level 2.

 

Master (Recreational)  - 21 years old and +

Introduction to basic techniques, program supervised by a kinesiologist trained by Ski de Fond Québec and Cross Country Canada.

About Southwest Cross Country Skiing
The philosophy of Southwest Cross Country Skiing is to offer tailored programs and professional coaching with trained instructors in the field. Moreover, through its activities, the development of the human being is their main concern. In order to provide a high standard of service, Southwestern cross-country skiing is based on the criteria of the Quebec Technical Cross-Country Program. The programs offered are supervised by the head coach who is a kinesiologist by training.
