Outdoor enthusiasts? Experienced walkers? Looking for a new place to walk with your family and enjoy the great outdoors? Saint-Lazare invites you to conquer the trails of les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare nature park, while combining the useful with the pleasant, either by taking part in one of 3 rallies composed of enigmas to be elucidated:

It’s simple, free and safe! Beware of wrong answers … there are consequences! Nothing to manipulate, a good exercise for the body and mind!

Obstacle course and playground module

Access is limited because of the summer camp. The general public DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS to buildings, the obstacle course and playground equipment on the day following the St-Jean-Baptiste holiday until mid-August, Monday to Friday 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Limited access from June 25 to mid-August

During this period, visitors can only park and access the trails.

For the schedule outside the day camp, as well as rules and ongoing daily and seasonal rates, visit the “Plan your visit” section.

Aquafitness and aquastroller classes

Aquafitness and aquastroller classes take place on weekdays’ mornings, from July to August. The pool is heated.

Swimming lessons (Red Cross) for youth

Swimming classes take place on Saturday and Sunday morning, from June 27 to August 21,in our heated pool. Depending on the level, parents may be requested to be in the water with their children.

During free swims, a swimming lane is permanently installed to allow swimmers to do lengths,

Opening/closure:

The Nature Park will close the pool if  1) Outdoor weather is under 18 degrees celcius  2) There is 90% chance or more of rain for 60% of the swimming period  3) lightning

An update of the Parc Nature les Forestiers Facebook page will be published daily by the lifeguards to keep you informed of the condition of the pool (open/closed) according to the weather.

Fees :

Residents: Free for residents of Saint-Lazare (resident’s card required) and resident of Les Cèdres (upon proof of address)

Non-residents:

Toddler (0-5 yrs): day / season: free
Child (less than 18 yrs): day $3 / season $30
Adult (18 yrs+): day $5 / season $50
Family: day $10 / season $100
Senior (60 yrs+): day $8 / season $80

An accessible portable outdoor toilet will be available alongside the parking lot at the end of June.
