House and Business Decorating Contest
SAINT-LAZARE (Québec), Monday, May 29, 2017. – Ville de Saint-Lazare invites Saint-Lazare residents and owners of businesses on the Saint-Lazare territory are invited to decorate their houses and businesses in the equestrian style for the festival Saint-Lazare au Galop who will be held on July 8 and 9, 2017. We then ask that they take a photo of their masterpiece in jpeg format and submit it along with their on-line entry.
You can register online from Monday, June 5 to Monday, July 3 at 4 p.m.
From Monday July 3rd at 9 a.m. to Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 4 p.m., go to the Saint-Lazare au Galop Facebook page to vote for your favourite display! The photos of the winning displays will be posted on the Saint-Lazare au Galop Festival Facebook page under two different categories, one for businesses and one for houses.

Arts Trail
Seeking live artists/painters!
Participate for your chance to have your piece selected as one of the five winning works of art (prize valued at $500).
The organizing committee of the Saint-Lazare au Galop Festival is actively seeking artists/painters and sculptors for an art creation weekend to be held on July 8 and 9, 2017. Artists will set up alongside the Saint-Lazare community garden to produce an equestrian-themed work of art while festivalgoers look on. The completed works will then be included as part of an exhibition that will be on display at the library from Tuesday, July 11 to Thursday, August 10.
A panel of regional artists will select the five winning works of art. The Town of Saint-Lazare will purchase these pieces at a cost of $500 each during the Festival’s evening closing event. These purchases fall under the Town of Saint-Lazare’s policy regarding the acquisition of works of art.
The selected works will be permanently on display at the new Town Hall.
To participate, simply complete the online registration form below before May 26 at 4:30 p.m.
*The number of artists selected for the event is limited. The organizing committee will prioritize artists from Saint-Lazare.

Food Fair
The food fair will be located in Zone Foires au Galop, in the Bédard Park parking lot. Producteurs and Food Trucks Owners interested in partnering with the Festival Saint-Lazare au Galop are invited to fill up the registration form and send it back to the organization.

Cultural Fair
The cultural fair will be located in Zone Foires au Galop, on Poirier street. Producteurs and foodtrucks interested in partnering with the Festival Saint-Lazare au Galop are invited to fill up the registration form and send it back to the organization.
Equestrian Fair
The equestrian fair will be located in Zone Grand Galop, beside Montée Saint-Lazare. Producteurs and foodtrucks interested in partnering with the Festival Saint-Lazare au Galop are invited to fill up the registration form and send it back to the organization.
